Provincial Minister for School Education Dr. Murad Raas while addressing as a chief guest to the participants in the ceremony said that it is not possible to achieve progress without getting benefit from technology on regular basis. The said ceremony was being organized and held under Microsoft Education Day at Pearl Continental Hotel here today. We have to make our children most capable and talented, he added. Microsoft has done wonders in the field of technology which carries no precedent in the whole world. There is no dearth of talent in our youth and they only need to be provided with a proper platform so that by treading on it they can earn name and fame for their country. No other government except PTI has given importance to the usage of technology in education sector. The usage of digitalization and technology makes any system more transparent and effective. School Education Department during PTI government’s maiden year by making effective use of technology has successfully implemented on projects like E-transfer policy and HRMIS portals, he added. It is not possible to make progress without adopting innovation. Chairman TEVTA Punjab Ali Salman Siddiqui, Microsoft Education Country Head Jibran Jamshed and others also participated in the ceremony.
Dr. Murad Raas further said that TEVTA under the leadership of Chairman Ali Salman Siddiqui is working strenuously by keeping in mind needs of modern era and it is highly welcoming and appreciable step. Murad Raas while talking with the participants said that we are planning to introduce Microsoft Certification Projects in public schools and this project will prove to be highly beneficial for our young generations, he added. We have to accept this reality that every child cannot complete his education up to graduation and for this reason such children should be imparted technical education during their period of school education and it carries utmost importance, he concluded. Chairman TEVTA Punjab Ali Salman Siddiqui while addressing the participants said that we are improving the process of imparting technical education in TEVTA by keeping in mind requirements of modern period and its positive effects will soon surface on a large scale.
