A delegation of Sikh leaders led by Provincial Parliamentary Secretary for Human Rights Sardar Mahinder Pal Singh called on Provincial Minister HR&MA Ijaz Alam Augustine at new minister block’s office on Wednesday. Sikh leaders applauded the efforts of Imran Khan and said that Imran Khan has won the hearts of Sikh community of Pakistan as well as India, they also thanked to the I.K for Baba Guru Nanak University project in Nankana Sahib. Minister Ijaz Aalm informed the Sikh leaders regarding Baba Guru Nanak University Project. Setting up of an educational institution is the best way to pay homage to Baba Guru Nanak because education is the key to nations' success, he added. Sardar Mahinder Pal Singh said no doubt that Baba Guru Nanak University project is a historic step of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf government and hopefully Baba Guru Nanak University will become the best educational institute of the region. Sikh leaders also condemned the recent incident of Norway in which a person tried to disrespect the Holy Quran and showed full solidarity among the Muslims. They also acknowledged the role of PTI on the journey of peace and said that they will always be thankful to Prime Minister Imran Khan and Usman Buzdar.
