The provincial Minister for HR&MA Ijaz Alam Augustine has said that under the vision of Prime Minister I.K, the provincial government is making all-out efforts to remove sense of deprivation and alienation amongst minorities and driving them towards national mainstream. He said that PTI’s Government is endeavoring to provide latest and state of the art educational facilities to intelligent youth of minorities, being equal citizens of Pakistan and as important for the development and progress of our country as other communities. He expressed these views during in a meeting with a delegation of minority’s students led by Professor Dr Christy Muneer at new minister block’s office on Friday. Issues regarding scholarships to minority students discussed in details. Dr Christy Muneer acknowledged the efforts of PTIs Government for the students of minorities and said that minorities are playing a pivotal role in the progress of the country and their talented students are serving the country in every sphere of life. The minister said that government of the PTI is committed to ensure the basic rights of our citizens in pursuance to our Constitution and we are committed to ensure the religious freedom and basic rights of all our citizens.
