Chief Minister Punjab Sardar Usman Buzdar has said that coronavirus pandemic will be overcome by implying collective efforts adding that Punjab government is taking every step to provide relief to the daily wagers. In a statement issued here on Monday, he said that lockdown strategy has proved useful and announced the Punjab government will continue taking steps to overcome this pandemic. He said the hospitals are being monitored to keep an eye on patients' treatment and relevant SOPs are also being strictly implemented. While assuring that no stone will be left unturned to treat the patients, he reiterated the health of the people is a top priority of the government. The spread of coronavirus could be minimized if people remain limited to their homes, he stated. The government is keeping a vigilant eye over the situation and I am also visiting different cities to check the implementation status at the grassroots because saving the lives of the people is my mission, the CM concluded.
