Punjab Health Minister Dr. Yasmin Rashid reached Hafeez Center Gulberg after fire incident and monitored rescue work here on Sunday. The Health Minister reached the spot on direction from the Chief Minister and has sought report from the officials on the incident. Present on the spot were Additional Chief Secretary Home Momin Agha and senior officials of the government. Deputy Commissioner Lahore Mudassar Riaz Malik and DG Rescue 1122 Dr. Rizwan Nasir gave a detailed update on the measures to control fire at Hafeez Center. The Minister said, “The Rescue 1122 teams are making all out efforts to control fire. Chief Minister Punjab Sardar Usman Buzdar has taken notice of the incident and. An Investigation Committee will probe the incident, ascertain the causes and fix the responsibility. I urge all business owners to cooperate with Rescue teams.”
