Punjab Safe Cities Authority has decided to launch online payment system for E Challan in collaboration with the Finance Department. Given the concerns of coronavirus and keeping in view the convenience of citizens, the online E-payment system of E-challans is set to be launched soon in collaboration with the FD. Citizens will no longer have to line up at banks for payment of e challans after the launch of this facility. Citizens will be able to pay E-challan through Punjab e-pay online Mobile application. The PSCA spokesperson said that citizens can make electronic payments through ATM, Easy Paisa, Jazz Cash, and online banking by using Punjab e-pay app. The constraints of manual payment are being settled by taking advantage of modern technology which will facilitate citizens to pay their e-challan easily. According to a spokesperson, an electronic payment will also facilitate real-time information.
