PITB And IPH Signed MOU

Chairman, Board of Management, Institute of Public Health and former Governor Punjab, Lt. Gen. (R) Khalid Maqbool has said that COVID-19 epidemic has changed the lifestyle and the system worldwide and the use of information technology has been increased  in every sector including education, healthcare and commerce and online working has become a part of life. He said that steps are being taken to introduce modern technology in the IPH for which PITB will extend technical assistance and cooperation for training of the staff and digitalization of the record of IPH. He stated this while addressing the MoU signing ceremony between IPH and PITB, here on Tuesday. Besides, Dean IPH, Professor Dr. Zarfishan Tahir, faculty members, experts from PITB and Imran Iqbal member BoM, IPH were also present on the occasion. Chairman BoM, IPH Lt. Gen.( R) Khalid Maqbool and the Project Director, PITB Mr. Ali Raza khairi signed the MoU documents. Dean, IPH, Dr. Zarfishan Tahir observed that PITB will help develop, deployment of IT system in IPH and extend technical cooperation for preparation of IT solutions for the institute. She said that training of the staff in Information technology and digitalization of system of all the departments of IPH will not only improve the working but also refine the standards of services in education, research and disease control program of the institute. Lt. Gen.(R) Khalid Maqbool also lauded the services of PITB and said that Punjab Information Technology Board has rendered remarkable services for promoting IT, training and digitalization of the record of government departments which enable the departments for quick disposal of official matters and ensuring transparency in the system.
