Health Minister Announces Revamping at Lady Willingdon Hospital

 Punjab Health Minister Dr. Yasmin Rashid directed an increase in beds capacity of the Lady Willingdon Hospital here on Thursday. The Minister gave these directions while visiting the Lady Willingdon Hospital. Present on the occasion were Additional Secretary Specialized Healthcare and Medical Education Dr. Asif Tufail, Vice Chancellor King Edward Medical University Dr. Khalid Masood Gondal, MS and Faculty Members. The Health Minister reviewed emergency, Operation Theatre and other services at the Hospital. Vice-Chancellor KEMU Dr. Khalid Masood Gondal gave briefing to the Minister about the arrangements at the center. The Health Minister said, “We are increasing the capacity of the Lady Willingdon hospitals. Good quality treatment is being ensured for patients at Lady Willingdon Hospital. Teaching and training units are under special focus. The suggestions of the faculty members have been reviewed. Building for four new sub specialties is being developed. The staff of the hospital performed services during the Corona Pandemic. The problems of the Lady Willingdon Hospital are being resolved on priority basis. The architects of the department has been asked to develop cost estimates. Complete revamping of the lady Willingdon hospital is being undertaken. He said she always worked with sense of service to the nation. He said she always served humanity.
