Secretary Primary and Secondary Healthcare Sarah Aslam issued a warning alert here on Thursday while assessing the emerging situation due to fourth wave of Coronavirus. These instructions will be assured throughout the Punjab by Directorate General Health Services and Districts Health Authorities, she instructed. Sarah Aslam urged people in continual following of Covid-19 induced standard operating procedures (SOPs) especially to avoid lock down situations. After decline in corona cases, sudden rise is a serious concern, she says. Sarah Aslam Secretary P&SHD advised people to get vaccinated as ample supply is available in all vaccination centers in Punjab. She also instructed to wear mask, sanitize hands and obey social distancing to normalize the life routine. While reviewing Covid-19 situation, the province witnessed a significant decrease in Covid-19 infection rate, 206 new cases were reported in last 24 hours in Punjab whereas 5792674 tests are conducted till date.
