OPC Punjab Monthly Review Meeting Held For Immediate Resolution of Overseas Pakistanis Problems

Commissioner Overseas Pakistanis Commission Punjab Syed Khadim Abbas has said that the petitions and complaints submitted by Overseas Pakistanis should be resolved immediately without any delay. He said that out of 27748 complaints lodged so far on the web portal of Overseas Pakistanis Commission, 17108 have been resolved. He said that the role of Overseas Pakistanis in the economic development of the country has always been commendable. He expressed these views while presiding over a review meeting on the monthly performance of the Overseas Pakistanis Commission Punjab here today. The meeting was also attended by Director General OPC Ishrat ullah Khan Niazi, Director Police Imtiaz Ahmed Ali, Director Admin Tanveer Majid, Director Legal Raja Zubair, Director Revenue Zulfiqar Bhoon, Deputy Directors and other dealing officers. Important decisions were taken in the meeting to ensure speedy resolution of the problems faced by the Overseas Pakistanis and to further improve the performance of OPC Punjab. The Commissioner OPC informed the meeting that so far agricultural lands, residential and commercial properties worth Rs. 44 billion have been transferred to Overseas Pakistanis. That is why the problems of overseas Pakistanis are being solved fast due to the effective measures taken by the Overseas Pakistanis Commission Punjab which has been expressed by the Pakistanis living abroad themselves. He said that Chief Minister Punjab was attaching great importance to the solution of the problems of Pakistanis living abroad. He clarified that the performance of Overseas Pakistanis Commission Punjab at the provincial level was related to the immediate solution of the problems of overseas Pakistanis.
