Punjab Health Minister visited the site of under construction Mother and Child Hospital in Multan and reviewed pace of work on Wednesday. The Health Minister also chaired the 10th syndicate meeting of Nishter Medical University. The Minister validated the decisions taken during the 9th Syndicate meeting. Dr. Yasmin Rashid monitored the development work at 200-bedded Mother and Child Hospital at Ghalla Godaam area. Special Secretary Specialized Healthcare and Medical Education Department Dr. Asif Tufail accompanied the Minister. The officials at the site apprised the Minister of progress made so far. The Health Minister said, “Development work on Mother and Child Hospital near Ghalla Godaam is underway at full pace. As per vision of Prime Minister Imran Khan, eight mother and child hospitals are being set up. These hospital will provide state of the art facilities to mothers and children.”
