An impressive farewell ceremony was organized for the recently retired officers of Directorate General Public Relations (DGPR) holding the posts of Director Information of DG Khan and Sargodha namely Rahim Talab and Tanveer Khalid respectively. Secretary Information and Culture Raja Jahangir, Director General Public Relations Suman Rai graced the farewell ceremony with their presence along with senior officers of DGPR. On this occasion, Secretary Information Raja Jahangir highly appreciated the professional acumen and abilities of the retired officers and remarked that these retired officers remained a precious asset and became a source of goodwill in the Public Relations for their department. On this occasion retired officers thanked Allah Almighty for attaining retirement with due dignity and respect. They highly appreciated the steps and reforms being undertaken by the worthy Secretary Information and DGPR for the uplift of the department and hoped that these fruitful steps will bring a significant improvement in the performance of the department. DGPR Saman Rai paid glowing tributes to the professional abilities of the retired officers and appreciated their utmost devotion during deliverance of their duties and remarked that these officers held impeccable professional career along with earning good repute and gentle behaviour. She further remarked that these officers proved their abilities and worth by performing their official duties with diligence as well as dedication. The senior officers of the department also greatly acknowledged the abilities of the retired officers. Secretary information Raja Jahangir in connection with Eid Milan and Mother’s Day cut a cake with the retired officers and also presented flower bouquets, honorary shields and gifts to the retired officers. Later, a group photo was also organized for the retired officers.
