Punjab Uplifts Major Sectors by Approving Various Development Schemes in Its 13th PDWP Forum

The Punjab Provincial Development Working Party approved twelve development schemes of various sectors with an estimated cost of Rs. 43,363.712 million. These schemes were approved in the 14th meeting of Provincial Development Working Party (PDWP) of current fiscal year 2022-23 presided over the Chairman Planning & Development Board Abdullah Khan Sumbal. The approved development schemes included Construction of Judicial Complex at Ferozewala, District Sheikhupura at the cost of Rs. 1,746.960 million, IT-Based Profiling of Government Employees at the cost of Rs. 427.254 million, Rehabilitation of Road from Phoolnagar (Old Multan Road) to Head Ballokilength 9.50 Km in District Kasur at the cost of Rs. 1,291.156 million, Rehabilitation of Chunian to Khuddian Road Length 28.00 Km in District Kasur at the cost of Rs. 1,140.002 million, Rehabilitation of Dual Carriageway Kasur Depalpur Road Length 98.95 Km District Kasur & Okara at the cost of Rs. 13,443.101 million, Rehabilitation / Improvement of Safdarabad – Manawala Road Length = 19.50 Km, in District Sheikhupura at the cost of Rs. 1,035.110 million, Rehabilitation / Improvement of Road from Sheikhupura – Sargodha Road at Farooqabad to Tehsil Safdarabad Length = 23.75 Km, in District Sheikhupura at the cost of Rs. 1,401.905 million, Rehabilitation / Improvement of Sheikhupura – Sharaqpur Road Length = 28.85 Km, in District Sheikhupura at the cost of Rs. 1,753.817 million, Rehabilitation / Improvement of Lahore Jaranwala Road Length 99.00 Km District Sheikhupura at the cost of Rs. 8,749.430 million, Construction / Widening / Improvement of Road from Hafizabad to Gujrat via Head Khanki Along Lower Chenab Canal (L.C.C. Main) Length = 45.00 Kms in District Hafizabad & Gujranwala at the cost of Rs. 8,215.829 million, Rehabilitation of Road from Chiniot to Pindi Bhattian M-2 Interchange Length 40.20 Km, Hafizabad and Pindi Bhattian at the cost of Rs. 3,239.498 million and Reconstruction / Rehabilitation of Road from Gujranwala Hafizabad Pindi Bhattian Road (Section Km No.63.00 to 66.80) treated Length 13.80 Kms Tehsil & District Hafizabad at the cost of Rs. 919.650 million. Provincial Secretary P&D Board Dr. Muhammad Sohail Anwar Chaudhary, all Members of the Planning & Development Board, Provincial Secretaries of concerned departments, and other senior representatives of the relevant Provincial Departments also attended the meeting.
