Free Treatment Facility Is Being Provided To the People of Punjab through Sehat Card: Minister Health

A meeting was held in the Department of Specialized Health Care and Medical Education under the chairmanship of Provincial Health Minister Dr. Yasmin Rashid, in which Punjab Health Secretary Imran Sikandar Baloch, Special Secretary Muhammad Usman, Additional Secretary Development Agha Nabeel, Chief Planning Officer Abdul Haq Bhatti, Additional Secretary Admin Zahida Azhar, Mian Zahid ul Rahman and other officers. Provincial Health Minister Dr. Yasmin Rashid during the meeting reviewed universal health coverage under the health insurance program, under-construction mother and child block in Gangaram Hospital Lahore, SNE's of various under-construction government hospitals, Nishtar 2 in Multan, transfer of DHQ Hospital Gujranwala to teaching hospital, Institute of Urology and Transplantation Rawalpindi, Narowal and Okara construction of medical colleges and outsourcing of MRI and CT scan machines for teaching hospitals. Special Secretary Muhammad Usman and Chief Planning Officer Abdul Haq Bhatti gave a briefing to Provincial Health Minister Dr. Yasmin Rashid. Provincial Health Minister Dr. Yasmeen Rashid said that progress is being made on all health projects across the province. We are trying to improve the conditions of government teaching hospitals. She further said that free treatment facility is being provided to the people of Punjab through Sehat Sahulat Card. According to the vision of Imran Khan, we are trying to provide better health facilities to the people of Punjab. There is a need to build government hospitals. The MS have been directed to provide better health facilities to public of Punjab through government hospitals.
