A meeting was held under the chairmanship of Secretary Health Punjab Muhammad Usman, in which Additional Secretary Finance Shahida Farrukh, Additional Secretary Development Agha Nabil, CEO Punjab Health Initiative Management Company Dr. Ali Razaq, COO Shamshad Ali Khan, CEO Punjab Institute Cardiology Professor Bilal Mohiuddin, MD Children Hospital Professor Muhammad Saleem, MS Jinnah Hospital Dr. Amjad, MS Gangaram Hospital Dr. Athar, MS Mayo Hospital Dr. Munir Ahmed, MS General Hospital Dr. Khalid Bin Aslam, MS Services Hospital Dr. Bashir, MS Lady Willington Hospital Dr Sabahat and all official teaching through video conference and Executive Directors of hospitals participated. Secretary Health Punjab Muhammad Usman during the meeting reviewed the treatment facilities in government teaching hospitals through Sehat Sahulat Card. Additional Secretary Finance Shahida Farrukh and CEO Punjab Health Initiative Management Company Dr. Ali Razaq gave a briefing during the meeting. Provincial Health Secretary Muhammad Usman said that providing better health facilities to patients in the government teaching hospitals of Punjab under the Sehat Sahulat Card is one of the first priorities. The Sehat Sahulat Program in Punjab is a very wonderful project to provide better health facilities to the common man. He said that we are trying to provide better health facilities to the people of Punjab through Sehat Sahulat Card. So far, more than 25 lacs people in Punjab have received free treatment facilities through Sehat Sahulat Card. Instructions have been issued to the Health Initiative Management Company and the administration of all government teaching hospitals across the province has also been instructed to call a meeting every week regarding the Sehat Sahulat Card. A meeting will be called every fortnight of all government teaching hospitals. The Punjab Health Initiative Management Company has sent teams to the respective divisions to spread awareness about the Sehat Sahulat Card in all government teaching hospitals. A detailed review of the facilities provided to patients in empaneled government private hospitals of Punjab is being conducted under the Sehat Sahulat Card.
