A meeting was held under the chairmanship of Punjab Health Secretary Dr. Ahmad Javed Qazi, in which Special Secretary Muhammad Usman, Additional Secretaries Agha Nabeel and Shahida Farrukh, Chief Planning Officer Abdul Haq Bhatti and other officers participated. Punjab Health Secretary Dr. Ahmed Javed Qazi reviewed the ongoing progress regarding the completion of DHQ Gujranwala during the meeting. Additional Secretary Agha Nabil and Chief Planning Officer Abdul Haq Bhatti briefed Dr. Ahmed Javed Qazi. Commissioner Gujranwala, DC Gujranwala, Principal Gujranwala Medical College, Wasa,1122, Forests and officers of C&W Department also gave a briefing. Provincial Health Secretary Dr. Ahmed Javed Qazi said that the various stages of the new DHQ Hospital Gujranwala under construction have been reviewed. OPD will be started in the new DHQ Hospital Gujranwala on November 25 and emergency will also be started in the new DHQ Hospital Gujranwala by December 25. Transparency is being ensured in all the ongoing development schemes in Punjab. He said that according to the vision of Provincial Health Minister Dr. Yasmin Rashid, the work of health projects in Punjab is going on at a fast pace.
