Provincial Transport Minister Visits Vehari to Review Transport Related Initiatives

Provincial Transport Minister Punjab Muhammad Muneeb Sultan Cheema visited Vehari. A meeting was held at the DC office under the chairmanship of Provincial Transport Minister Punjab Muhammad Muneeb Sultan Cheema. In the meeting, government initiatives regarding transport and bus stands were reviewed. Deputy Commissioner Wahari Safdar Hussain Work, members of the National Assembly Aurangzeb Zeb Khan Khachi, Tahir Iqbal Chaudhry, members of the Provincial Assembly Ijaz Sultan Bandisha, Rai Zahoor Ahmed Kharl, District Police Officer Muhammad Zafar Buzdar, District General Secretary PTI Salman Bhabha, PTI ticket holders Khalid Chauhan, Khalid Dogar, PTI officials Sheikh Khurram Waheed, Saima Noreen, Jahanzeb Doultana, Imad Chaudhry, Saifullah participated. ADC Revenue Syed Khalid Mehmood Geelani, ADC General Syed Waseem Hassan, AC Coordination Muhammad Shafiq, Secretary DRTA Kamran Anwar and other officers were present on this occasion. Directed to provide the best facilities. And said that the sanitation situation at the bus stands should be better. Providing the best transportation facilities to the people is a priority. Drivers, owners and passengers should continue to be informed about anti-dengue and smog. The provision of facilities should be ensured according to the Punjab government's working to provide the best facilities to the people. The municipal committees should also play an active role to provide the best facilities to the passengers at the general bus stands. Deputy Commissioner Safdar Hussain Work said on this occasion. That all the resources are being used to provide facilities to the passengers at the bus stands. Municipal committees are continuing the best measures for cleanliness at the bus stands. A special awareness campaign is being conducted regarding dengue, Secretary DRTA Kamran Anwar gave a detailed briefing in the meeting. In the briefing, the bus stands in Vehari district, the performance of the transport department, anti-dengue and anti-smog campaigns were explained in detail.
