Punjab Health Minister Dr. Yasmin Rashid made first visit to recently inaugurated the Mother and Child Block at Gangaram Hospital Lahore. On this occasion, Secretary Punjab Assembly Chaudhry Inayatullah Lak, Vice Chancellor Fatima Jinnah Medical University Professor Dr. Khalid Masood Gondal, MS Gangaram Hospital Dr. Athar and other professors were also present. Provincial Health Minister Dr. Yasmin Rashid welcomed the Mother and Child Block. She made a detailed visit to emergency, operation theaters, waiting areas, post-operation rooms and other departments. Provincial Health Minister Dr. Yasmin Rashid visited various departments and anquired about the admitted patients. Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Khalid Masood Gondal and MS Gangaram Hospital Dr. Athar Informed the details about the medical facilities provided to the patients in the block. Vice-Chancellor Prof. Dr. Khalid Masood Gondal congratulated the parents on the birth of the first child in the Mother and Child Block and also gave azan in the child's ear. Provincial Health Minister Dr. Yasmin Rashid said that Imran Khan fulfilled his promise to build a mother and child block in Gangaram Hospital. The patients are being provided excellent medical facilities in the mother and child block of Gangaram Hospital Lahore. Thousands of mothers and children can be provided with the best health facilities in the Mother and Child Block in Gangaram Hospital. She further said that ten more Mother and Child Hospitals in the style of Mother and Child Block in Gangaram Hospital are being built in Punjab. The construction of Mother and Child Block in Gangaram Hospital promises to provide better health facilities to the people of Punjab. Provincial Health Minister Dr. Yasmin Rashid added that cleanliness will be ensured in the Mother and Child Block in Gangaram Hospital. The patients coming to the Mother and Child Block seem to be completely satisfied with the treatment and treatment facilities. The first priority of the government is to provide good medical facilities to the patients in the public hospitals of Punjab. The Provincial Health Minister congratulated all the concerned officers and administration for the successful activation of the Mother and Child Block.
