Chief Minister Punjab Mohsin Naqvi has started surprise visits of various government hospitals. Caretaker Chief Minister Punjab wants to provide the best medical facilities to the patients coming to cardiology hospitals across the province. On the instructions of caretaker Chief Minister Mohsin Naqvi, primary angioplasty is being provided to patients in all cardiology hospitals of the province. He said that we will not tolerate negligence in the treatment of patients in any government teaching hospital of Punjab. Punjab Institute of Cardiology has 553 beds for the treatment of patients. Cardiac monitors and oxygen facilities are also available on all beds for patients coming to the PIC. Model Pharmacy of Punjab Institute of Cardiology is running successfully. All means are being used to improve the conditions of the Children's Hospital. The biggest stakeholder in the public hospitals of Punjab is the people. Around five and a half lacs patients are provided with free medicines in Punjab Institute of Cardiology. Scans of the patients coming to the PIC are done through modern machinery and quality food is also provided to the admitted patients. In 2022, two lacs and 58000 patients have been provided with free treatment. He said that the statistical details of the facilities provided to the patients are recorded in the PIC through the newsletter. We also want to open chest pain clinics under the PIC and want to transfer the PIC to solar energy. CEO Prof. Dr. Bilal Mohiuddin and MS Dr. Tehseen for creating convenience for patients in PIC and highly appreciated the efforts of Friends of PIC for the improvement of PIC.
