Industries Minister Addresses Pakistan-China Joint Chamber of Commerce & Industry

Provincial Minister of Industries, Commerce, and Energy SM Tanveer emphasized the vast investment opportunities available in the Special Economic Zones of Punjab and assured domestic and foreign investors of receiving all necessary facilities. To address the concerns of industrialists, the Punjab Chambers of Commerce Coordination Committee has been established to prioritize problem-solving, he added.
During his speech at the Pakistan-China Joint Chamber of Commerce and Industry, the minister expressed the caretaker government's primary responsibility of assisting the election commission to conduct fair and transparent elections. Additionally, the government aims to promote the industry and solve industrialists' problems. Follow-up is also being done to address the challenges faced by industrialists, he added.
Furthermore, Punjab has installed coal and solar power plants while transitioning government buildings to solar energy. DISCOs' provincialization is also under review, he disclosed.
Moazzam Ali, President of Pakistan China Joint Chambers of Commerce and Industry, highlighted the chamber's role in promoting mutual trade, serving as a platform for 25,000 students to learn Chinese, and working as the Pakistan China Technology Gate.
The industrialists had earlier presented their issues to the minister.
