The Industries Department, in partnership with TEVTA Punjab, has decided to provide technical courses to students of government schools during their summer vacations, completely free of charge.
These courses are being organized in collaboration with the Industries, Higher Education, and School Education departments and will be held in various cities including Gujranwala, Lahore, Multan, Rawalpindi, Sahiwal, Sargodha, Bahawalpur, Faisalabad, and Sialkot. Students will not be required to pay any fees for these courses.
The government has initiated these courses, which cover a range of skills such as domestic electricity, plumbing, heating and ventilation, air-conditioning and refrigeration, tailoring, computer applications, cooking, beautician, safety inspection, gardening, kitchen gardening, embroidery, offset printing, home appliances, and CNC machine operator courses. Seats for these courses are limited, and the last date to apply is May 25. These courses will not only help students complete their education but also provide them with chances at job opportunities, thereby reducing unemployment.
