Sahiwal Gets Waste Management Company

Caretaker Minister Local Government and Community Development Ibrahim Hassan Murad announced the establishment of 'Sahiwal Waste Management Company' for Sahiwal city. The company will play a fundamental role in cleaning the city, solving sewage problems and providing a clean environment to the public. He made this announcement while presiding over a meeting at the Commissioner's Office on the occasion of his visit to Sahiwal. Commissioner Sahiwal Division Shoaib Iqbal Syed and other concerned officers also participated.

Addressing the meeting, the caretaker provincial local government minister said that there is no greater good than serving God's creation. “All the government officials should work selflessly as it is our mission to improve the lives of people in limited time”, he resolved. Ibrahim Hassan Murad directed to speed up work on all the projects of the "PSAP Program" and said that the rapid increase in the population of big cities is enhancing the burden on municipal services due to which there is an urgent need for digitization of local bodies. The provincial minister was informed in the briefing that the projects of sewerage, drinking water supply, construction of parks, and reconstruction of major roads, modern bus stand and parking plaza in Sahiwal city with a huge cost of 18 billion rupees are being implemented rapidly. The provincial minister directed to ensure the quality of work on ongoing projects in every way. He expressed satisfaction over the progress in all the ongoing projects and directed to speed up the pace further. Ibrahim Hassan Murad also strictly directed to speed up the construction of Shehr e Khamoshan in Sahiwal City and complete the construction of Fateh Sher Road within the stipulated period.
