The integrated reproductive material newborn & child health & nutrician program Punjab of the primary & secondary healthcare department will celebrate the global breastfeeding week from Aug 28 to Sept 2 with the theme ‘enabling breast feeding making a difference for working parents.’ In this regard, a provincial launch and advocacy seminar is scheduled on Aug 28 at a local hotel to discuss the current status of breastfeeding legislation in Punjab and policies for enabling environment for working mothers.
