The Government of Punjab has established ten (10) Special Economic Zones (SEZs) across Punjab which serve as the ideal landing space for new businesses entering into the large scale manufacturing sector. Under an optimized national SEZ regulatory framework, SEZs of Punjab offer complete package of world class facilities offered by planned industrial clusters. Fully supported by automated “One-Window Facilitation” services and connected with elaborate rail/road infrastructure, these industrial hubs have successfully attracted over 40 international manufacturing brands to establish their manufacturing footprint in Punjab. The national framework of SEZs offers deep fiscal incentives, infrastructure and efficient investor facilitation services to enable high productivity and competitive cost of doing business thereby driving the future industrial landscape of Punjab. Fully leveraging the framework scope, Punjab also leads the way for encouraging private sector SEZs and sole enterprise SEZs, where trailblazing project of Pakistan’s first private sector SEZs, i.e., JW SEZ is already operational in Lahore. |
