On the special directions of Chief Minister Punjab Maryam Nawaz Sharif, WASA remained proactive across the city of Lahore. Commissioner Lahore Zaid Bin Maqsood and DG LDA Tahir Farooq along with MD WASA Ghufran Ahmad paid numerous visits across the city. They inspected catchment areas, Kartaba Chowk, Lakshmi Chowk, important boulevards and various underpasses across the city. Commissioner Lahore Zaid Bin Maqssod directed to undertake prompt measures to clear all side ponding points of all boulevards along with undertaking special measures for water drainage from the catchment areas Commissioner Lahore directed to check all the heavy machinery and equipment along with putting them on stand by. He also directed the people to take precautionary measures during rainfall. DG LDA lauded preparations being made on the monsoon camps. DG LDA issued directions to make all the dosposal station screens neat and clean before further rainfall.
