CM Livestock Asset Transfer to Rural Women Scheme

Overview

The "Livestock Asset Transfer to Rural Women in South Punjab" initiative is aimed at alleviating poverty and providing sustainable livelihood opportunities to women with experience in livestock management but limited resources. Through the PITB developed Livestock Asset Transfer to Women App, women specifically widow and divorced women can register for livestock asset transfer such as heifers. Women can apply for the scheme by entering basic details such as CNIC, name, marital status etc. After registration on this app, the application undergoes for further scrutiny and physical verification. After verification, livestock assets are transferred to the successful applicants. 

Objective

The project is aimed to support rural women of South Punjab by providing livestock assets to improve their livelihoods.

Eligibility

  • The widows and divorced women residing in any district of South Punjab with a maximum age of 55 years old and didn’t get any animal from any government scheme during the last five years would be eligible for the scheme.
  • Must have valid CNIC and their own registered mobile SIM card.
